Donation from Nemak Czech Republic, s.r.o.

The donation in the amount of CZK 75,000 was used to acquire and assemble slides and swing sets which revitalised the garden of the nursery school in Františka Kmocha Street. The new playground equipment was inspected by deputy mayors Hana Jeníčková and Luboš Pitín together with a delegation from the company Nemak. “We appreciate Nemak’s financial support.
We are pleased the cooperation and effective communication between our city and Nemak’s management are in place and functioning.
And we are also pleased to see the joy that young children are getting from these new attractions,” said Hana Jeníčková.
Nemak Czech Republic produces aluminium cylinder heads for automotive engines. The company has been operating in Most’s
Joseph industrial zone for nearly ten years and is a major employer in the area.
Nemak and the company StarCam s.r.o., which together occupy one production facility,
have created nearly 400 direct jobs and an estimated 800 indirect jobs.
“Thanks to the presence of such investors in the Most region, not only are new jobs being created, but the business that
provide services and materials to investors are also enjoying increased turnover, thus significantly strengthening the region’s
economic development. Of course, with the subsiding economic crisis we are striving to bring new investors to the Joseph industrial
zone as soon as possible,” adds Jeníčková.
